It says you have to be logged in to send them any communication. I came back 8 hours later and tried again and still get the same message telling me the email they are sending is invalid and try again. I tried 3 times in a row and get the same message. Internet Explorer: make sure that third party extensions are allowed by going to the Internet Explorer Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > 'Enable Third-Party Browser.
Firefox: Go to the Menu Icon > Add-Ons > Extensions, ensure that LastPass is listed and enabled. Please generate a new link and try again”. Chrome: Go to chrome://extensions to see if LastPass listed and enabled. We are actively working on making our extension compatible with the new format, to be made generally available on when Firefox 57 is released next month. I just get a message that says “The link has expired or is invalid. LastPass is fully committed to supporting Firefox and WebExtensions. I add the extension to a Firefox browser and pasted the link. (I double checked, nowhere in any of the communication’s did it say that). I received the email and clicked the link which opens in a browser and promptly tells me oops you were suppose to open this in a browser running a LastPass extension. I started the “ account recovery” process which asked for your email address and then sends you a link to create a one time use password to be able to log in and change your master password. I checked my password hint and am entering the correct password to no avail. I have been logged out and can’t get back into my account.
