Speaking with Kinda Funny Games, Diablo general manager Rod Fergusson has said that Diablo IV's live-service format allows the team to expand the game's story via Seasonal content, and that there are already two seasons in development. While both Diablo II and Diablo III featured a single expansion each post-launch, Diablo IV is set to be the most supported game of the series for new content.
